We were camping on the shores of Arrow Lake over the May long weekend and the weather was stormy, with big wind and waves hitting the beaches. The sun broke through the clouds in a beautiful sunbeam, illuminating the distant slopes and I knew I had to paint this brief moment of respite from the storm.
