The MacBeth Icefield is a pretty special place! The hiking trail leads right up to this gorgeous basin with a glacier-fed lake tumbling into a huge waterfall. We walked up and touched the glacier - a kind of deep-bone cold emanating from it's grey icy surface. And nearby - the most amazing collecting of paintbrush wildflowers in all shades of orange, yellow, and coral!
