This painting captures a soft sunset glow on a midsummer evening above Nelson, BC. Prominent landmarks are on display from the Big Orange Bridge, to Kokanee Glacier, to the historic downtown buildings. The roses in the foreground are from my garden - in fact, the view is from my front porch where I often sit and watch the evening light shift across the mountains. Lucky me!
