Purcell Paradise - Archival Fine Art Print

Inspired by a Jumbo Pass during the golden hour as the shadows deepened in the valleys and a glow caught the soft clouds. This painting was based on a reference photo by Maria Pettersson (thank you) who was lucky enough to stay at the Jumbo Hut over Thanksgiving. The early sunsets in the fall can bring gorgeous colour to the landscape! This painting has a strong sense of calm despite the bright colours glowing in the sky. • The canvas that we use is a matte finish but the coating that is applied to the canvas for UV and handling protection can be anything from matte to glossy depending on how it is mixed.  Our standard and favourite mix is 75% gloss and 25% matte which gives the final canvas a semi-gloss look.
• Stretched on 1.5" depth wooden bars with the image mirrored around the edges. Ready to hang on your walls.
