Inspired by a Jumbo Pass during the golden hour as the shadows deepened in the valleys and a glow caught the soft clouds. This painting was based on a reference photo by Maria Pettersson (thank you) who was lucky enough to stay at the Jumbo Hut over Thanksgiving. The early sunsets in the fall can bring gorgeous colour to the landscape!
